About Anna Caplan

Anna Caplan is a dedicated attorney at Barkan Meizlish DeRose Cox, LLP, specializing in employment law and wage-and-hour litigation. A native of Westerville, Ohio, Anna graduated summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communications. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in 2024, graduating cum laude.

During law school, Anna demonstrated a strong commitment to advocacy and justice through her involvement in the Women’s Law Association and the Survivors Advocate Group, where she supported victims of domestic violence. This passion for fighting for vulnerable communities continues to guide her work as an attorney.

Anna is now an active member of both the Ohio Association for Justice and the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA). She is committed to staying connected with the broader legal community and advancing her expertise in employment law.

Outside of her legal practice, Anna enjoys spending time with her two cats, shopping, and watching comedy movies. Her combination of legal expertise, compassion, and community involvement makes her a passionate advocate for her clients.
