Survey Shows Decrease in Ohio Workplace Injuries

According to a survey released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, fewer workers in Ohio get injured or become ill in the workplace compared to the rest of the nation. For every 100 full-time workers, there were three cases of nonfatal injuries in illness in Ohio compared with the national rate of 3.5 cases in 2013. During this same time Ohio also saw a drop in total estimated injuries and illnesses, from 129,200 in 2012 to 122,600 in 2013.
