Robi Baishnab represents workers asserting wage claims against their employers. He has assisted clients from all walks of life, including bartenders, waiters and waitresses, call center representatives, case managers, housekeepers, oilfield workers, home health aides, automotive and shop workers, and many others.
Originally from the greater Cleveland area, Mr. Baishnab relocated to central Ohio in 1998. He received his B.S. in Biology from The Ohio State University, and his J.D. and LL.M. from Capital University Law School.
Mr. Baishnab was admitted to the Ohio bar in 2010 and is an associate in the litigation department of Barkan Meizlish, LLP. Mr. Baishnab has been with the firm nearly continuously since December 2007, first as a Social Security law clerk, then as an attorney. While his work concentrates on employee advocacy under the Fair Labor Standards Act and Ohio wage law, he has also served as counsel in several consumer cases, and continues to assist the firm’s Social Security Disability and Workers’ Compensation departments.
In his free time, Mr. Baishnab is an avid motorcycle commuter and sport-tourer. He is a member of the Motorcycle Sport Touring Association and strong advocate for motorcycle safety – “ATGATT.”
