According to the annual statistics of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) lawsuits now make up the majority of lawsuits in the employment-related litigation. In 2014, approximately 8,160 FLSA lawsuits were filed in U.S. district courts—an almost 9% increase from 2013.
